Miss Riddler wins comeback in impressive fashion

Miss Riddler made all the going in a first condition allowance race at Keeneland and won traveling a mile on the turf course in 1:36 4/5. Settlesd into a relaxed pace by pilot Luis Saez, she responded to repeated challenges by several rivals and a late surging Be My Sunshine to prevail by a full length.

 

What made this all the more impressive is she was making only her second career start.  She won her debut on dirt at Ellis Park in July 2022.  She then sustained a training injury which set her on the shelf for the remainder of the year.  The race at Keeneland was only her second career start and she remains undefeated.  Like her famous mother, Gotta Have Her, Miss Riddler appears to thrive on competition and likes to win.

 

Miss Riddler is so named because of her distinct question- mark-shaped blaze.  

 

Next start will probably be in stakes company in June.
