Obstinate wins!

   Obstinate, a two year old filly by Tiznow purchased at the 2018 Keeneland September sale, dropped out of Maiden Special Weights to the $50,000 claiming level and promptly delivered a victory.  Going 8.5 furlongs on a fast dirt track as the 3-5 favorite, Obstinate set and easy pace under Julian Leparoux and won handily by over two lengths.  

   She has now earned over $28,000 in four career starts and this is the first victory for trainer Ian Wilkes carrying the colors of Green Lantern Stables.  She should improve with age and distance and are excited for her three-year-old campaign.
