Frostmourne wins the Penn Mile!

   Frostmourne, the last colt out of Leaning Tower, surged to an impressive victory in the Grade 2 Penn Mile on June 3.  Placed mid-pack by jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr., the dark bay loomed four wide entering the stretch, caught the leders and sustained a pwerful move home to earn a 1+ length victory over Big Score.  The purse was $500,000.

   Final time for the mile was 1:35.0 with Frostmourne's final quarter clocked at 23.0.   Even more impressive was that his seventh of the 8 furlongs was timed at 10.77, an incredible showing of late speed remniscent of Gotta Have Her.

   Frostmourne is developing into a top turf prospect and we will pont to the Grade 1 Sectretariat Stakes at Arlington this summer.
