Ansible breaks maiden with impressive late run

15 Aug 2015

Ansible, a three year old daughter of Street Sense, registered a near miss second in June and followed it up with her initial victory on August 2 at Monmouth.  She tracked the leaders behind a steady pace of :48 and 1:12 and was able to prevail in a stretch-long duel with Pin Up by a lengthening neck at the wire.  The race quickened in the last quarter as the leaders went :23.2 and Ansible made up more than two lengths to come home in under :23.

Ansible has steadily improved under the patient handling of Christophe Clement.  She finished the mile in 1:35.2 and appears ready to tackle the next level.
